We, the family Schmidt and a few other art collectors of Davood Roostaei make Cryptorealism accessible for public. Klaus-Dieter Schmidt is planning vernissages in some German cities, at the time. Also, some galleries and museums are interested in the family’s art collection.

The cryptorealistic paintings will be accessible to a wider audience. Take the possibility, to get to know Cryptorealism and its creator Prof. PhD Davood Roostaei better. In our vernissages, one can experience his 1992 created Cryptorealism.

Cryptorealism and its creator

Shortly before the millennium, there was a new term in the art scientific professional literature and shortly after that also in the international artcritic and culturepart of the big newspapers: Cryptorealism. It’s understood as a variety of the universally widespread postmodernism.

The creator of this new way of painting and viewing is Davood Roostaei, a from Iran originated world artist , who after his bail out of Persia lived and functioned in Germany for the following fifteen years, until he moved to California in the United States in 2000.

For the art critics it is still hard to believe that after all the artistic revolutions throughout the century, of all things an artist out of the veiled and picture- stormy Orient steps on the stage of world art. A wondrous artist in the gown of the three Magi, who affixes to revolutionize the way of painting from all the eras once again, and competently disesteeming all the rules of postmodernism, create a new genre. Davood Roostaei is the pioneer of Cryptorealism.
